Calcium is free software that provides information about the Periodic Table of the Elements. It runs under the KDE . A lot of information about the elements can be looked up and highlighted according to various criteria. It also offers the option of displaying data graphically or looking up chemical terms or equipment in a glossary . Images and activities (time and temperature sliders) complete the application.
Calcium is developed by Carsten Niehaus and is part of the KDE education project .
