Kamičani ( Serbian - Cyrillic Камичани ) is a district of the municipality of Prijedor in the Republika Srpska in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina . Kamičani is a suburb of Kozarac and is 13 kilometers from Prijedor. Mostly Bosniaks live in Kamičani . In addition to a mosque with an adjacent Muslim cemetery, there is also an old church in Kamičani, next to which a new one was built in 2001. The mosque was built over 300 years ago, making it one of the oldest mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was destroyed during the war and rebuilt in modern forms.
