Kananaskis Country

The Kananaskis Country

As Kananaskis Country , a parking system in the southwest of which is the Canadian province of Alberta , respectively. It lies west of Calgary in the foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and in these and extends east to the border of British Columbia and the continental divide .

The Banff National Park closes to the north by the parking system, but does not belong to this.

This parking system is accessed through Highway 1 as part of the Trans-Canada Highway . Within the parking system, traffic flows on Highway 40 , Highway 66, and Highway 68 .
