Cape Helles

Cape Helles ( Turkish Seddülbahir ) is a cape in the southwest of the Gallipoli peninsula . It was the scene of heavy fighting between Turkish and British troops at the Battle of Gallipoli during the First World War .

Today there are memorials of fallen soldiers in this area.
