Andrea Esposito (born May 17, 1986 in Galatina ) is an Italian football player who plays mainly in defense . He has been under contract with Calcio Catania since 2018 .

Esposito began his career at US Lecce , where he was first used in various youth teams. For the 2006/07 season Esposito was loaned to Sambenedettese to get more game practice. After his return to US Lecce, he scored his first professional goal to win 3-2 against Rimini Calcio and thus helped his team to win Serie B. In July 2009 he was signed by CFC Genoa , six months later he was awarded to AS Livorno until the end of the season. In July 2010, the defensive player was awarded again, this time to FC Bologna .

After two years with US Lecce , he moved to US Latina for the 2013/14 season . In 2016 he left Latina after three years and moved to Vicenza Calcio . After Vicenza's relegation to Serie C, he moved to AC Cesena in 2017 . In summer 2018 he moved to Calcio Catania after AC Cesena had to file for bankruptcy.
