Bruggen Chapel
The chapel Unser Herr im Elend is a Roman Catholic chapel in Bruggen in the municipality of Längenfeld in Tyrol .
The chapel is elevated on the eastern slope of the Totterschrofen on the old valley road. The large chapel building from the 19th century with pilaster strips and arched windows, with a roof turret with a Biedermeier hood, stands on sub-structures. The facade faces east. A round apse adjoins a cross-arched yoke .
The late baroque altar bears the figures of Our Lord in Misery (Matreier Christ) from the 17th century. Josef Anton Renn created the figures Mourning Maria and Johannes in the second half of the 18th century.
