The Chapel of the Holy Cross was a chapel in Stolberg (Harz) in what is now Saxony-Anhalt .

The chapel was at the western exit of Stolberg in front of the knight's gate in the valley of the Lude . Chalet Waldfrieden is located a little north of the former location . The chapel existed until 1818. Below the chapel there was a cemetery, which was abandoned in the Middle Ages . To commemorate the chapel, a sandstone cross , now a listed building , was placed on the slope .
