The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows in Lüftelberg is a listed building of the city of Meckenheim . The small path chapel, just under four meters long, is located in a residential area on Kottenforststraße . As a Catholic Lady Chapel, it bears the patronage of the Mother of Sorrows ( Mater Dolorosa ). The chapel building is a single-storey brick building with a gable roof and an apse at the back and was built in 1884 by the Lüftelberg-born architect Anton Becker (1853–1899). A cross (in front) and ornaments (in the back) stand on the two shield gables. Inside there is a pietà .
