The Capuchin Monastery in Donauwörth is a former monastery of the Capuchins in Donauwörth in Bavaria in the diocese of Augsburg .

history

The monastery was founded in 1630 and dissolved in 1802 in the course of secularization . The convent came to the central monastery in Türkheim . The church and monastery were bought by private individuals. The church was demolished in 1846. A hospital and a poor house were housed in the monastery buildings. Today they accommodate the Käthe Kruse Puppet Museum and the Werner Egk meeting place .
