The Kapuzinerkloster Rosenheim was a monastery in Rosenheim in Bavaria in the diocese of Munich and Freising .
history
The Capuchin monastery was founded in 1606. During the secularization the monastery served as the electoral central monastery . This was dissolved in 1803 and the convent was moved to other monasteries. The inventory was auctioned, and the monastery building and church subsequently served as salt works . On October 9, 1854, the construction of a Capuchin monastery at the Sebastianikapelle in Rosenheim began again, which could be occupied in October 1856. In 1888 the small Sebastiani chapel was expanded to become the Capuchin Church. The monastery church was completely renovated in 1997.
The convention was closed in January 2017.
