KSE-30

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Karachi 30 Index (KSE 30) is a share index on the Karachi Stock Exchange that tracks the 30 largest Pakistani companies. The index was launched in mid-2006.

Pakistani growth sectors in particular are represented in the index. The expanding financial sector has a share of around 50 percent - three of the four largest members are financial companies. The Oil & Gas segment follows at a considerable distance. The weighting is based on the market capitalization of the free float and has no upper limit.
