Karif (wind)

The Karif is a wind that occurs mainly during the night during the summer monsoon on the southwest coast of the Arabian Peninsula . The wind often brings sand and heat from central Africa to the Gulf of Aden .

He is the namesake of the Maserati Karif sports car .
