Karin Holm-Müller (born October 21, 1957 in Eckernförde ) is a German economist and head of the professorship for resource and environmental economics at the Institute for Food and Resource Economics at the University of Bonn .

After studying economics in Berlin and Grenoble and then working as an assistant in the field of environmental and resource economics at the TU Berlin , Holm-Müller received his doctorate there in 1988. rer. Oec. Her habilitation took place in 1996 at the Fernuniversität Hagen with a thesis on economic incentives in waste management policy.

From 2008 to 2016 she was a member of the German Government's Advisory Council on Environmental Issues . Holm-Müller is currently (2020) Vice Rector for Studies and Teaching.
