Karina Winter

Karina Winter (born January 14, 1986 ) is a German archer in the Olympic discipline of recurve bows . At the 2015 European Games in Baku , she won a gold medal in the individual ranking.

Life

At the age of eleven, the passionate gymnast Karina Winter injured her back. The diagnosis was initially that the continuation of gymnastics in a wheelchair would end. The national archery trainer , Martin Frederick , was looking for newcomers for archery at the Werner Seelenbinder School, which Winter was attending at the time, and Winter went to trial training; since then she has been an archer. Karina Winter is a sports soldier and lives in Berlin.
