Karl-Heinz Everding

Karl-Heinz Everding (* 1953 ) is a German Tibetologist.

Life

He studied Tibetology, Mongolian Studies and Comparative Religious Studies . After receiving his doctorate in 1985 at the University of Bonn and his habilitation in 1999 at the University of Hamburg , he taught there in 1999 as a private lecturer in Tibetology. He is a research associate at the Academy of Sciences in Göttingen . His main research interests are Tibetan literature, history and geography of Tibet from the 10th to 17th centuries. Century.
