from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Karl-Heinz Graf is a German basketball trainer and former player.

Life

In 1970 Graf rose as a player with the Post-SV Bayreuth in the upper league (at that time the second highest German division) and in 1976 in the basketball Bundesliga and then ran for the team in the "upper house".

As assistant coach to Lester Habegger, Graf was involved in Steiner Bayreuth's title wins at the end of the 1980s (1988 cup winner, 1989 German champion and cup winner). In 1989 and in the 1990/91 season Graf temporarily acted as interim coach of the Bayreuth Bundesliga team. Since Habegger returned to the United States in the fall of 1991 for health reasons , Graf took over the post of head coach before he was replaced by Eric Dennis during the season. Graf also looked after youth teams in Bayreuth for many years.
