Karl Düh

Karl Düh (born November 4, 1902 in Windischdorf ( Rábatótfalu ), Austria-Hungary , † November 4, 1975 in Deutsch-Minihof , municipality of Mogersdorf ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and construction foreman. Düh was married and from 1949 to 1960 a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Düh was born the son of the farm laborer Franz Düh from Windischdorf. He attended elementary school in Mogersdorf and then worked as a shoemaker, construction worker and seasonal worker in agriculture. Between 1939 and 1945 he worked in the Steyrer works in Graz. After the war he moved back to Burgenland and became the union representative in Jennersdorf . He later rose to the works council, where he worked as a construction foreman. In 1963 Düh retired.

Düh joined the Social Democratic Party in 1920 and was secretary of the SPÖ district organization Jennersdorf between 1946 and 1963. He represented the SPÖ between November 4, 1949 and May 5, 1960 in the Burgenland state parliament.
