Seat of the Burgenland Parliament in the so-called
Landhaus in Eisenstadt
The Burgenland Landtag is the legislative body of the Austrian state of Burgenland . It consists of 36 members who are elected by the people of the country for five years. The last election took place on January 26, 2020. Elections take place according to the 1995 state election regulations , which - according to the political districts - provide for seven constituencies . The state parliament has its seat in the country house in Eisenstadt . It met from 1922 to 1929 in the Martinkaserne and from 1930 until today in the Landhaus.

The Presidents of the Burgenland Parliament
The presidents of the state parliament are elected by the members of their ranks. As in the National Council , the President of form with the coordinators of the clubs , the country-level parliament clubs say the Präsidialkonferenz .
