List of members of the Burgenland Landtag (VII legislative period)

This list of members of the Burgenland Landtag lists all members of the Burgenland Landtag in the VII legislative period. The legislative period began on March 19, 1953 with the inauguration of the MPs and the election of the Presidium and ended after 42 meetings on June 11, 1956 with the inauguration of the 8th legislative period in the Landtag . After the state elections on May 13, 1953 , 16 of 32 mandates went to the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), 14 to the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) and 1 each to the electoral party of the Independent (WdU) and the electoral community of the Austrian People's Opposition (VO) .

The Presidium was chaired by the ÖVP MP Josef Lentsch as the 1st President of the State Parliament . The 2nd Landtag President Hans Wastl (SPÖ) and the 3rd Landtag President Johann Hautzinger (ÖVP) were also in office for the entire period . Josef Schatz and Alfred Weichselberger carried out the function of secretary, Bernhard Gansrigler and Paul Weiß were the stewards .
