List of members of the Burgenland State Parliament (XIth legislative period)
This list of members of the Burgenland Landtag lists all members of the Burgenland Landtag in the XI. Legislative period. The legislative period began on April 17, 1968 with the inauguration of the deputies and the election of the Presidium and ended after 55 sessions on November 3, 1972 with the inauguration of the XII. Legislative period . After the state elections on March 22, 1968 , 17 of 32 seats were held by the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) and 15 seats by the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP).
The presidium was chaired by the SPÖ member Karl Krikler as the first president of the state parliament . Johann Erhardt (ÖVP) held the position of 2nd President of the State Parliament, Emmerich Koller (SPÖ) was the 3rd President of the State Parliament . Matthias Pinter , Rudolf Gradinger (until July 2, 1971) and Günter Widder (from July 5, 1971) carried out the function of secretary, Josef Peck , Josef Wiesler (from February 17, 1972) and Johann Schwarz (from 4. May 1972). On May 14, 1968, six members of the state parliament laid out and changed to the state government. They were filled on the same day. Furthermore, there were five further changes among the state parliament members during the legislative period.
