This list of members of the Burgenland Landtag lists all members of the Burgenland Landtag in the IX. Legislative period. The legislative period began on May 5, 1960 with the inauguration of the MPs and the election of the Presidium and ended after 51 sessions on April 17, 1964 with the inauguration of the state parliament of the 10th legislative period . After the state elections on April 10, 1960 , 16 out of 32 mandates went to the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), 15 to the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) and 1 mandate to the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ).
The Presidium was chaired by the ÖVP MP Johann Hautzinger as the first President of the State Parliament . The function of 2nd President of the State Parliament was initially carried out by Theodor Kery (SPÖ), from December 18, 1962 Heinrich Knotzer (SPÖ) took over the function. 3. President of the Landtag was initially Rudolf Grohotolsky (ÖVP), on August 8, 1961 he was replaced by Johann Erhardt (ÖVP). The function of secretary was carried out by Josef Schatz and Alfred Weichselberger , the stewards were Josef Wiesler and Paul Weiß .
