Anna Pöpperl

Anna Pöpperl , née Bleier (born June 28, 1920 in Stöttera ; † October 25, 2002 ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). Pöpperl represented the SPÖ in the Burgenland Landtag from 1960 to 1977 .

Life

Pöpperl was born as the daughter of the bricklayer Georg Bleier and attended elementary school in Stöttera and Kleinfrauenhaid . Between 1934 and 1936 she was employed as a housemaid. After that, Pöpperl worked as a laboratory assistant until 1940 and worked in the Hirmer sugar factory until she worked again as a housemaid and saleswoman between 1940 and 1942.

politics

Pöpperl completed three courses at the Payerbach adult education center and worked for Kinderfreunde from 1946 . From 1956 she was a full-time hiking teacher for the Austrian Children's Friends and from 1959 secretary and state chairman of the socialist women in Burgenland. Between 1959 and 1977 she was a member of the SPÖ state party executive.

Pöpperl represented the SPÖ between May 5, 1960 and October 27, 1977 in the state parliament.
