Ludwig Sexl

Ludwig Sexl (born February 24, 1904 in Vienna ; † April 18, 1964 there ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and businessman. Sexl was married and from 1960 to 1964 a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Sexl was born as the son of the civil servant Theodor Sexl from Vienna and attended a grammar school in Vienna after primary school, where he passed the Matura in 1922 . He then worked as a commercial clerk and set up his own business in 1937 as the owner of a book and paper shop and a printing company, which was closed in 1940. In addition, Sexl was the owner of the "Burgenland Publishing House of the Sexl Brothers" in Eisenstadt . Sexl served in the Wehrmacht between 1940 and 1945 .

After the end of the Second World War, Sexl continued to run his book and paper shop and expanded it to include two branches. He was also involved as a member of the Economic Association and between 1955 and 1961 acted as its deputy regional chairman. He was also a local councilor in Eisenstadt and from 1950 deputy mayor. Sexl, who was appointed to the Commercial Council in 1957, was also active as Vice-President of the Burgenland Chamber of Commerce from 1953 to 1964 and was also the 2nd Chairman of the Burgenland Regional Health Insurance Fund . He represented the ÖVP between September 21, 1960 and April 17, 1964 in the Burgenland state parliament.
