List of members of the Burgenland Landtag (II legislative period)
This list of members of the Burgenland Landtag lists all members of the Burgenland Landtag in the II legislative period. The legislative period was opened on November 13, 1923 with the inauguration of the deputies and the election of the Presidium and ended after 69 meetings on May 20, 1927 with the inauguration of the Landtag of the III. Legislative period . After the state elections on October 21, 1923, 13 of 32 seats were held by the Christian Social Party (CSP), 12 by the Social Democratic Party (SdP) and 7 by the Burgenland Farmers' Union ( Landbund , LdB). The number of seats in the state parliament was reduced by the state constitution on August 31, 1923 by 1 seat to 32 seats.
The Presidium was initially chaired by the SdP MP Hans Morawitz as the first President of the State Parliament . He was replaced on April 30, 1925 by his party colleague Oskar Brugnak . The function of the 2nd President of the State Parliament was initially held by Alfred Ratz (CSP). Ratz left office on August 16, 1924 and was replaced by Nikolaus Freyberger on October 28, 1924 . Freyberger himself resigned from office on April 30, 1925 and was replaced by Johann Sabel on that day . 3. The President of the Landtag was initially Josef Pomper (LdB), followed by Matthias Duld on February 9, 1927 . Anton Horvath and Oskar Brugnak acted as secretary, Anton Probst and Martin Millesits were the stewards .
The Burgenland Landtag elected the Burgenland Provincial Government in the third session of the Landtag on January 4, 1924 . The state government Rauhofer I was in office during the entire legislative period .
