Johann Paul (politician)

Johann Paul (born July 24, 1883 in Kemeten ; † January 30, 1961 there ) was an Austrian farmer, innkeeper and politician ( Landbund ). From 1922 to 1925 he was a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Life

Johann Paul was born as the son of the farmer Lorenz Paul from Kemeten. He attended elementary school and subsequently worked as a farmer and innkeeper in Kemeten. From 1924 to 1931 Paul was councilor of the Burgenland Chamber of Commerce and Industry and between 1927 and 1931 he was a councilor of the Burgenland Chamber of Agriculture.

Paul was married.

Between 1925 and 1926 Paul was also a member of the state party executive of the Landbund in Burgenland. Paul was sworn in as a member of the Burgenland Landtag on July 15, 1922 and was a member of the Landtag until he resigned his mandate on March 4, 1925. He ran in 1930 on the list of the Christian Social Party Home Guard and was therefore expelled from the Landbund on October 22, 1930.
