Anton Horvath

Anton Horvath (born June 7, 1888 in Neusiedl am See ; † June 14, 1966 there ) was an Austrian master saddler and politician ( CS ). From 1923 to 1934 he was a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Life

Horvath was born as the son of the master saddler Johann Horvath from Neusiedl am See. He attended elementary and vocational school and learned the trade of master saddler. In 1932 Horvath was appointed to the Commercial Council.

politics

From 1922 to 1934 Horvath was a member of the regional executive committee of the Christian Social Party of Burgenland and founded the regional group of the Burgenland Defense Federation in 1930. From 1937 he held the function of a chamber council of the Burgenland Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Horvath was mayor of the town of Neusiedl am See between 1930 and 1932 and represented the Christian Social Party from November 13, 1923 to October 31, 1930 for three legislative periods in the Burgenland state parliament.
