List of members of the Burgenland Landtag (VI legislative period)

This list of members of the Burgenland Landtag lists all members of the Burgenland Landtag in the VI. Legislative period. The legislative period began on November 4, 1949 with the inauguration of the deputies and the election of the Presidium and ended after 39 meetings on March 19, 1953 with the inauguration of the 7th legislative period in the Landtag . After the state elections on October 9, 1949 , 18 of 32 mandates went to the ÖVP , 13 to the SPÖ and 1 mandate to the Association of Independents .

The Presidium was chaired by the ÖVP MP Johann Grabenhofer as the first President of the State Parliament . The 2nd Landtag President Ernst Hoffenreich (SPÖ) and the 3rd Landtag President Julius Grabner (ÖVP) were also in office for the entire period . The function of secretary was carried out by Josef Schatz and Friedrich Robak , Adolf Brunner was the folder until January 7, 1952, Paul Weiß and Franz Beutl from June 18, 1952.
