Adolf Brunner (politician)

Adolf Brunner (born October 1, 1900 in Rudersdorf ; † August 11, 1963 in Fürstenfeld ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and textile worker. Brunner was a member of the Burgenland Landtag from 1949 to 1952 .

Life

Brunner was the son of the small farmer Andreas Brunner from Rudersdorf. He attended compulsory school and completed an apprenticeship as a miller. From 1925 Brunner worked as a textile worker at the Sattler company in Rudersdorf and became a member of the Christian trade union in the First Republic.

He was married and was buried in Rudersdorf.

politics

In 1945 he joined the ÖVP and was mayor of Rudersdorf between 1946 and 1963 . Only between 1948 and 1951 did he hold the office of Vice Mayor.

Brunner was a member of the Burgenland Landtag between November 4, 1949 and April 3, 1952. He resigned from office in 1952.
