Georg Fiedler

Georg Fiedler (born April 11, 1898 in Jennersdorf ; † February 9, 1983 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( Landbund , ÖVP ) and farmer in Jennersdorf. He was a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Life

Fiedler was born as the son of the farmer Georg Fiedler from Jennersdorf and attended four classes at the elementary school in Jennersdorf and one class at the Steinamanger secondary school . He then worked as a farmer and was drafted into Honved Infantry Regiment No. 18 in 1916. After he was released from military service in November 1918, he worked as a farmer again. In 1959 he was given the professional title of Economics Council.

Fiedler was married.

Fiedler was from December 5, 1930 to October 31, 1934 as a member of the Landbund für Österreich in the Burgenland state parliament and joined the ÖVP in 1945. He was mayor of Jennersdorf between 1932 and 1937 and from 1945 to 1954 . He represented the ÖVP from November 2, 1946 to June 11, 1956 in the Burgenland state parliament.
