Monique Troedel (born June 11, 1946 in Nancy , France ) is a German politician and was a member of the Bremen citizenship for the party Die Linke .

Life

Troedel was born in France, grew up in Germany and went to school. From 1971 she worked for Bremer Tageszeitungen AG (Weser-Kurier). There she was a union shop steward and works councilor . In connection with her political commitment to the Bremen citizenship, she went into early retirement .

She is divorced and has a son.

politics

Troedel was - initially as a non-party - for the parliamentary group Die Linke from 2007 to 2011 a member of the Bremen citizenship. She was chairman of the parliamentary group, which was able to move into parliament for the first time in 2007, and its spokeswoman for women, media and trade unions.
