Franz Stampf

Franz Stampf (born November 11, 1899 in Rechnitz ; † September 29, 1981 in Pinkafeld ) was an Austrian businessman and politician ( SPÖ ). From 1950 to 1953 he was a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Life

Franz Stampf was born the son of the day laborer Josef Stampf and attended elementary school in Rechnitz. After completing a business apprenticeship, Stampf worked as a businessman in Rechnitz. He emigrated to Wiener Neustadt in 1921 and joined the Social Democratic Workers' Party there. After his return to Burgenland, Stampf took over the management of Konsum Pinkafeld. He was in the German Wehrmacht from 1939 to 1945 and from 1945 worked again on the management and development of the Pinkafeld consumer. From 1947 Stampf worked as an independent general store.

Stampf was married.

politics

Between 1950 and 1955, Stampfer was a member of the retail trade committee in the Burgenland Chamber of Commerce and was Vice Mayor of Pinkafeld for ten years. Stampf represented the SPÖ from February 7, 1950 to March 19, 1953 in the state parliament.
