The Salzburg State Parliament is the legislative body of the Austrian state of Salzburg . The seat of the state parliament is the Chiemseehof in the Kaiviertel of Salzburg's old town .
The state parliament consists of 36 members of the five parliamentary groups. The president of the state parliament is Brigitta Pallauf . The legislative period is five years. The last election was held on April 22, 2018 , after it had taken place on May 5, 2013 .
Since spring 2017, the Chiemseehof has been rebuilt by 7.4 million euros. The municipal council meeting room in the Salzburg City Hall and the Salzburg Residence served as alternative quarters for parliamentary sessions . The renovation was completed in February 2019.
