This list of the members of the Salzburg Landtag (Duchy, 3rd electoral period) lists all the members of the Salzburg Landtag , the Landtag (Austria-Hungary) of the Crown Land of the Duchy of Salzburg of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy , in its 3rd  electoral period .

Overview of the 3rd electoral term, 1870

The inauguration of the delegates took place on August 20, 1870, whereby the state parliament comprised 26 members. The Landtag consisted of 5 representatives of the large estates , 2 representatives of the Chamber of Commerce , 10 representatives of the cities and markets and 8 representatives of the rural communities , plus the virile vote of the Archbishop of Salzburg . The last session of the short period took place on August 30, 1870, and the following state parliament was sworn in on September 14, 1871.

Landtag (and also provincial committee ) chairman was governor Josef Ritter von Weiß (in office March 31, 1861 - September 20, 1872), his deputy the mayor of Salzburg , Heinrich Ritter von Mertens . The superior country chief ( governor , here called country president ) was government commissioner Adolf Fürst Auersperg (in office March 15, 1870 - November 25, 1871); The sovereign was Emperor Franz Joseph I.
