Franz Peitler

Franz Peitler (born November 21, 1808 in Gmünd in Carinthia , † January 18, 1877 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian lawyer and politician.

Life

Franz Peitler was the son of the master brewer innkeeper and property owner Heinrich Peitler and his wife Theresia, a daughter of Anton Karl von Willburg . He attended high school in Klagenfurt and studied law in Padua , Vienna , Pavia and Prague from 1825 to 1830 .

From 1831 to 1832 he was an intern at the nursing court in Tamsweg , from 1832 to 1834 in Salzburg and from 1834 to 1837 in Ried im Innkreis . In 1833/44 he completed his training as a judge. From 1837 he worked at the nursing court in Vichtenstein , from 1843 as an actuary in Goldegg and from 1847 as an adjunct in Taxenbach .

In 1848/49 he was a member of the constituent Reichstag of the Austrian Empire , and from May 18, 1848 to July 1, 1848 for the constituency Austria ob der Enns and Salzburg (17th,  Zell am See ) a member of the Paulskirchenparliament in Frankfurt . He remained non-attached, but voted with the left center. His successor in Frankfurt from July 1848 was Matthäus Lienbacher .

In 1850 he was transferred to the district court of Wiener Neustadt as an assessor , where he was promoted to court adjunct in 1854. Then he became a kk regional judge in Vienna.

From 1861 to 1876 he was a member of the Salzburg state parliament , for Werfen and finally for large estates ( 1st2nd3rd  and  4th electoral periods ).

In his parliamentary seats, Peitler took a liberal stance.
