The list of members of the Salzburg state parliament (16th legislative period) lists the members of the Salzburg state parliament in the 16th legislative period (from 2018).
history
After the state elections in Salzburg in 2018 on April 22nd, 15 of the 36 seats went to the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP, plus four seats), eight to the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ, minus one seat), and seven to the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ, plus one mandate) and three mandates on Die Grünen - Die Grüne Alternative (Greens, minus four mandates). NEOS - The New Austria and Liberal Forum ran for the first time in Salzburg and made it into the state parliament with three members. The Stronach Salzburg team (previously three mandates) no longer ran, the members of the Free Party Salzburg left the state parliament.
The constituent meeting of the Salzburg regional parliament and the election and swearing in of the state government jun Haslauer. II took place on June 13, 2018 in the Carabinierisaal of the Salzburg Residence after the Chiemseehof had been rebuilt since spring 2017. On June 11, 2018, the designated members of the government presented themselves to a hearing in front of the newly elected members of the state parliament in Salzburg City Hall .

Landtag President
- The ÖVP nominated Brigitta Pallauf as president of the state parliament, she was elected unanimously.
- NEOS nominated Sebastian Huber as second state parliament president, the SPÖ nominated Roland Meisl . Sebastian Huber was elected second president of the state parliament with 20 of 36 votes.
Club chairmen
- ÖVP: Daniela Gutschi
- FPÖ: Marlene Svazek
- Greens: Martina Berthold was the club chairwoman until March 2019 . After the municipal council and mayoral elections in Salzburg in 2019 , she was replaced in this position by Kimbie Humer-Vogl due to her move to the Salzburg city government .
- NEOS: Josef Egger
- SPÖ (club chairman): Walter Steidl (until July 2020), Michael Wanner (from July 2020)
Federal Councilors
The ÖVP won a seat in the regional chamber, there is no change for the SPÖ. The Greens lost a seat in the Federal Council, and with two members they also lost the right to inquire with the federal government. The Green Federal Councilor Heidelinde Reiter resigned from the Federal Council. The mandate of Federal Councilor Dietmar Schmittner ( FPS ) went back to the FPÖ, the Federal Council mandate of the Salzburg Freedom Party took over Marlies Steiner-Wieser . At the ÖVP, Andrea Eder-Gitschthaler kept her Federal Council mandate , the second ÖVP Federal Council mandate went to Silvester Gfrerer . Michael Wanner kept the SPÖ mandate . In July 2020, Wanner moved to the state parliament as club chairman, and David Egger took his place in the federal council .
