Andreas Teufl

Andreas Teufl (born February 12, 1963 in Sankt Gilgen ) is an Austrian politician of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). Since June 2018 he has been a member of the Salzburg State Parliament .

Life

After primary and secondary school in Faistenau, Andreas Teufl attended the polytechnic course in Thalgau in 1977/78 . He then completed an apprenticeship as a coachbuilder in Salzburg . After military service and a time as a UN soldier on the Golan Heights , he was division and production manager at the Wiberg spice manufacturer in Salzburg and Freilassing from 1984 to 2001 . Since 2001 he has been the owner and manager of a hotel in Faistenau.

In 1999 he became a member of the municipal council in Faistenau, where he was deputy mayor from 2014 until the municipal council and mayoral elections in Salzburg in 2019 . Since 2013 he has been the deputy chairman of the Freedom Economy in Salzburg. On 13 June 2018 he was in the inaugural parliament session of the 16th legislative term as a Member of the Salzburg Parliament sworn in .
