This list of members of the Upper Austrian Landtag (XXVIII legislative period) (as of July 21, 2018) lists all members of the Upper Austrian Landtag in the XXVIII. Legislative period (from 2015).

history

After the state elections in Upper Austria in 2015, 21 of the 56 mandates went to the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), 18 to the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), 11 to the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) and 6 to The Greens Upper Austria (GRÜNE).

The legislative period began with the constituent session on October 23, 2015. The constituent session was elected by the state government Pühringer V after the members of the state parliament had sworn in .

Functions

Landtag President

At the beginning of the legislative period, there were no personnel changes in the presidium compared to the previous legislative period, but the order changed: Viktor Sigl (ÖVP) remained first president of the state parliament, the previous third state parliament president Adalbert Cramer (FPÖ) came second and the previous second president Gerda Weichsler- Hauer (SPÖ) became third president.

On January 30, 2020, Wolfgang Stanek (ÖVP) was elected as the successor to Viktor Sigl as President of the State Parliament.

Club chairmen

At the SPÖ and the Greens, the club chairmen remained unchanged with Christian Makor-Winkelbauer and Gottfried Hirz . There was a change at the ÖVP and FPÖ. After the previous ÖVP club chairman Thomas Stelzer was elected as deputy governor, Helena Kirchmayr took over the role of ÖVP club chairwoman. At the FPÖ, Günther Steinkellner , who was elected to the regional council, was replaced by Herwig Mahr .
