Ferdinand Tiefnig (born June 17, 1965 in Ostermiething ) is an Upper Austrian politician of the ÖVP . From October 2003 to January 2019 he was the Upper Austrian provincial parliament seconded member of the Federal Council , and since January 2019 he is a Member of the Upper Austrian provincial parliament.

Life

Ferdinand Tiefnig is a trained butcher. Since 1997 he is a member of the municipal council of Gilgen am Weilhart and since 2001 chairman of the District Chamber of Braunau am Inn . In 2003 he was sent to the Austrian Federal Council by the Upper Austrian Landtag .

On January 31, 2019, he moved to the state parliament for Gerald Weilbuchner . Andrea Holzner took his place in the Federal Council .
