340 on the Park is a skyscraper located in Chicago . After construction began on the building at the north end of Millennium Park in 2005 , work was completed in 2007. The 64-storey high-rise is 205 meters high and offers space for 325 apartments. The construction was commissioned by the real estate company Related Midwest . The architectural office Solomon Cordwell Buenz was responsible for the planning. The entire building is clad with glass from the outside. Reinforced concrete was used as the load-bearing building material .
