Roswitha Bauer

Roswitha Bauer (born May 2, 1959 in Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting ) is an Upper Austrian social democratic member of the state parliament.

Education and career

She attended the elementary school in Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting, the secondary school in Stadl-Paura . She then spent two years at the commercial academy in Wels , and one year at the commercial school to graduate.

She passed the university entrance qualification examination at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (1998–1998) and then studied social economics for four semesters .

Together with her husband, whom she married in 1977, she worked abroad from 1977 to 1982 (Hungary, India, Tunisia, Algeria, Cameroon, Abu Dhabi, Dubai).

She worked at Welser Volksbank from 1982 to November 2003.

Political activity

Bauer has been a councilor in Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting since 1997, and has been a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament since October 23, 2003 .
