Johann Hingsamer

Johann Hingsamer (born February 24, 1956 in Eggerding ) is an Austrian farmer and politician ( ÖVP ) from Upper Austria . Hingsamer has been a member of the Upper Austrian State Parliament since 1997 and President of the Upper Austrian Association of Municipalities since 2010 .

Life

Hingsamer attended elementary school in Eggerding and secondary school in Schärding before he switched to the Otterbach Agricultural College in St. Florian am Inn . In 1974 he passed the skilled worker examination, in 1979 the master craftsman examination. Hingsamer runs a farm in his home town of Eggerding.

Hingsamer is married and has three children.

Hingsamer has been the mayor of the ÖVP in Eggerding since November 8, 1991. He was elected to the board of the Upper Austrian Association of Municipalities in 1998 , was the first vice-president of the association from 2001 and has been its president since 2010. Since 2002, Hingsamer has also been a member of the Presidium of the Red Cross . Hingsamer has represented the ÖVP since 1997, with a few days' break in 2003, as a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament. He is in the XXVI. Legislative period Chairman of the Committee for Economic Affairs and represents the ÖVP in the committees for general internal affairs, environmental affairs and in the culture committee.
