Barbara Tausch (born January 8, 1982 in Schärding ) is an Upper Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). From 2013 to 2015 she was a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament , and has been a member again since September 2019.

Life

Barbara Tausch attended the commercial academy in Schärding, where she graduated in 2001. From 2003 to 2005 she was chairwoman of the JVP Freinberg and since 2003 a councilor of the Freinberg community . Since 2012 she has been the district chairwoman of the ÖVP women in the Schärding district. On April 18, 2013, with the departure of Friedrich Bernhofer , she moved to the Upper Austrian state parliament, where she continued until the end of the XXVII. Legislative period was active.

On September 19, 2019, Tausch moved back into the state parliament. She succeeded Martina Pühringer , who resigned from her mandate.
