Martina Pühringer

Martina Pühringer (born November 17, 1956 in Gmunden ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). From October 1997 to September 2019 she was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag .

Life

After attending compulsory school, she learned the profession of office clerk . Martina Pühringer, who took over their parents' farm full-time with her husband in 1990, has been on the Ohlsdorf council since 1991 . From 1993 to 2001 she held the office of Vice Mayor and was elected to the Upper Austrian state parliament on October 31, 1997.

Since January 1st 2001 she has been the regional chairwoman of Upper Austria. Gold bonnets , headscarves and hat groups.

She is a member of the following state parliament committees: for economy and  EU affairs; for women's affairs and social committee.

The farmer is married and has two daughters and a son.

On September 18, 2019, she resigned her mandate, followed by Barbara Tausch as a member of the state parliament .
