Peter Csar

Peter Csar (* 17th March 1961 in Wels ) is an Upper Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and top staff representatives of the civil service in his home state. Since May 2006 Csar has been chairman of the staff representation of the Upper Austrian provincial government as well as provincial chairman of the public service union of Upper Austria. Peter Csar has been a state employee since 1986 and a staff representative since 1992.

Political career

Csar is politically involved in the ÖVP Upper Austria . Csar has been a member of the Upper Austrian Parliament since October 2010 . In this office he succeeded Maximilian Hiegelsberger , who moved to the state government as an agricultural councilor. In addition, Csar has been a councilor in Wels since 2009 . From 2009 until his entry into the state parliament, Csar led the ÖVP municipal council in Wels. Since 2006, Csar has also been ÖAAB -Obmann Wels-Stadt and regional chairman of the Upper Austrian Workers and Salaried Employees Association, the largest sub-organization of the Upper Austrian People's Party.

Csar grew up in Trattenbach, where he also attended elementary school. He then graduated from the Bundesrealgymnasium Wallererstraße in Wels from 1971 to 1979 , where he graduated with the Matura. Afterwards Csar studied for four years at the University of Linz Law . He completed this course in 1983 with a doctorate in the minimum period of study.

Family and private

Csar lives in Wels , is married and has two daughters (1987 and 1993) and a son (1983).

Other activities

Csar does volunteer work in his home parish, the city parish of Wels. Among other things, he was a member of the parish council from 2000 to 2012, including six years as a board member. During this time, the rectory was converted into a parish center with event rooms.

Since 2011, Csar has been on the economic board of the Kolping House Wels.
