Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer

Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer (born November 20, 1979 in Linz ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). He has been a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament since October 23, 2015 .

Life

Hattmannsdorfer graduated from the Europagymnasium Auhof Linz, did his military service at the Upper Austria military command and completed his studies in economics in 7 semesters at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz and in 2000 became a member of the Catholic student association KaV Austro-Danubia Linz in the ÖCV . In the meantime he completed a semester abroad at the National Taiwan University in Taipei and spent several stays abroad in Chicago , Brussels , Singapore and Indonesia . In 2007 , Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer received his doctorate in social and economic sciences and received for his dissertation “City, Country, Outskirts - Geographical Segmentation of the Upper Austrian Voter Market. Analysis and explanation for the different voting behavior using the example of LTW 2003 ”in 2008 the Leopold-Kuntschak-Wissenschaftspreis . This was followed by a short course in political marketing at George Washington University in Washington DC.

From 2003 to 2009 Hattmannsdorfer worked as assistant and later as deputy office manager of club chairman Michael Strugl , in the state parliament club of the ÖVP Upper Austria and from January 2009 he was his office manager in the OÖVP state party leadership for the preparation and implementation of the state elections in Upper Austria 2009 .

After the state election on September 27, 2009, which was successful for the OÖVP, Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer became Deputy State Director of the Upper Austrian People's Party in October 2009. In April 2010 he moved into the Linz municipal council . Furthermore, Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer is a board member of the Political Academy of the ÖVP federal party and a member of the local political association. He is a behavior and rhetoric trainer.

Since April 18, 2013 he has been the regional managing director of ÖVP Upper Austria. On October 23, 2015, he was sworn in as a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament.
