This list of the members of the Upper Austrian Landtag (19th legislative period) lists all the members of the Upper Austrian Landtag in the XIX. Legislative period. The legislative period lasted from November 17, 1961 to November 16, 1967, the deputies were sworn in on November 17, 1961. In the 1961 state elections there were no changes in the distribution of mandates, the ÖVP once again achieved an absolute majority. Of the 48 mandates, 25 went to the ÖVP , 19 to the SPÖ and 4 to the FPÖ . During the legislative period, the state government Gleißner VII was in office .

Functions

Landtag President

Thanks to its absolute majority in the mandate, the ÖVP was again entitled to the first president of the state parliament, with Matthias Hödlmoser performing the function . The second president of the state parliament was the SPÖ member Ladislaus Hartl , and the third state parliament president was the ÖVP politician Eduard Rauch .

Club chairmen

The chairman of the ÖVP was Johann Diwold , while Ludwig Bernaschek took over the post of chairman of the SPÖ . Alois Bachinger was elected club chairman at the FPÖ .
