Maria Koller-Feuchtinger

Maria Koller-Feuchtinger (born June 12, 1897 as Maria Feuchtinger in Feldkirchen an der Donau , † December 6, 1987 in Vöcklabruck ) was an Austrian teacher and politician ( SPÖ ). From 1945 to 1964 she was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag .

Life

Maria Koller-Feuchtinger came from a social democratic family and was involved in the child friends movement at an early age . She attended the workers' college in Vienna and from 1926 worked as a teacher in Traun , where she was also a councilor and in 1928 she founded a local children's group. She was also a member of the district school council of Linz-Land. In 1934 she was suspended and transferred to the secondary school in Goisern . Later she was a teacher in Attnang-Puchheim ; after the Second World War she was also a councilor there. From 1945 to 1964 she was a member of the state parliament. In addition, from 1945 she was chairwoman of the Socialist Women Attnang-Puchheim and their district chairwoman in Vöcklabruck . From 1951 to 1967 she was the chairwoman of the Socialist Women of Upper Austria.
