Matthias Hödlmoser

Matthias Hödlmoser (born August 9, 1907 in Strobl ; † August 26, 1981 in Vöcklabruck ) was an Austrian farmer and politician ( Austrian People's Party ).

Matthias Hödlmoser was chairman of the Reich League of Catholic Youth from 1924 to 1927. From 1945 he was district chairman of the Bad Ischl farmers' union. From 1955 he was chairman of the supervisory board of the Raiffeisen-Zentralkasse Oberösterreich , from 1956 he was deputy chairman of the supervisory board of the lawyers for agricultural and forestry cooperatives Upper Austria. From 1967 to 1973 he was President of the Upper Austrian Association of Municipalities .

Hödlmoser was Mayor of St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut from 1945 to 1973 . From 1945 to 1973 he was a member of the Upper Austrian Parliament , from 1953 to 1967 its first president.

Hödlmoser was married and had eight children. In 1954 he was invested in the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem in Linz Cathedral .
