Doris Eisenriegler

Doris Eisenriegler (born October 29, 1945 in Steyr ) is a former Upper Austrian state parliament member of the Greens .

Life

After elementary school and lower school at the Bundesrealgymnasium Wien 13, she attended the HAK 1 of the funds of the Viennese business community , which she graduated with the Matura . She then worked as a clerk and from 1966 to 1974 as a secretary at the Sociological Institute of the University of Vienna. At the same time she studied economics .

From 1985 to 1997 Ms. Eisenriegler was a councilor in Wilhering and at the same time worked from 1989 to 1997 as managing director and economic consultant in the non-profit sector .

On October 31, 1997 she was elected to the Landtag for Die Grünen Oberösterreich . On October 23, 2003 she became the third president of the Upper Austrian Parliament. She was a spokesperson in the areas of women, nature conservation, animal welfare, development policy, peace and neutrality, spatial planning and politics for the elderly. Doris Eisenriegler has also been a councilor and parliamentary leader of the Greens in Wilhering since 2003. She was a member of the Committee on Women's Affairs. On October 22, 2009, she left the state parliament.

She is the mother of two daughters and one son.
