Angela Orthner

Angela Orthner (born May 29, 1948 in Linz ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and former Upper Austrian state parliament president .

The trained pharmacist was the first president of the Upper Austrian state parliament from October 30, 1991 to October 23, 2009 . From June 2003 to January 2005 Orthner was a member and deputy chairwoman of the Austria Convention . For her committed work in the convent she was awarded the Great Golden Decoration of Honor with the Star for Services to the Republic of Austria in 2005.

Angela Orthner is married and has two children.
